Selecting the Glazing Color

Color Codes (click for info)
CL Clear
BZ Bronze Tint
GY Grey Tint

Unless otherwise specified, the color refers to the outer lite in an insulated or laminated skylight; the inner lite typically will be clear. To order a special make-up, call O'Keeffe's for further information and availability. Refer to the glazing performance charts for approximate daylight transmission properties. White colors will be translucent and act to diffuse light. Tints will be transparent, and will reduce heat transmittance and glare with only a subtle color shift. Color variations will exist between glass and plastic glazing materials of the same tint.

Clear: Offers maximum light transmission, with no color shift. TOP

Bronze Tint: Bronze tint has a subtle brown color shift. Unlike gray, bronze does not transmit light as evenly through the color spectrum, thus giving colored objects viewed more warmth, due to the light transmittance being more in the red band of the spectrum. TOP

Grey Tint: Gray provides uniformity through the color spectrum, giving objects viewed a natural appearance. TOP
